Minecract 1.19.2 modpacks such as Valhelsia 5, All the Mods 8 (ATM8), New Game, and others have updated to Forge version 43.2.0 and later. Therefore, for many people, Oculus has become the better, and sometimes only choice. It’s also not open source, is slow, and has other issues.
Most people know to use Optifine, which is not compatible with some 1.19.2 mods and therefore many modpacks. These mods are unofficial Forge Mod Loader forks of the Iris and Sodium mods which serve the same purpose on the Fabric platform. It requires Rubidium, another performance mod to operate properly. On Minecraft 1.19.2, to get Shaderpacks running, you can install the Oclulus mod which is an open source shaders and performance mod that is compatible with Optifine shader packs.
